For fifteen years, Therese Zetterberg defined the world of Swedish high fashion. From her flagship stores and showroom in Sweden and London to the royal courts and red carpets, her name became synonymous with architectural precision and bespoke luxury. In 2025, she pivoted her mastery from fabric to fine metal with YLVA LI. Bringing the same "conflict-free" elegance to jewelry that she once brought to royalty, Therese combines 18k solid gold with the scientific brilliance of IGI-certified lab-grown diamonds. This is her new era of couture: handmade, high-carat, and entirely conscious.

Amidst her busy schedule, Therese finds solace on the Swedish archipelago, where she owns an old, yet serene island home with her husband Daniel. Here she escapes the bustling world of the city and can embrace moments of solitude, which serves as the wellspring of her creative ideas. Since becoming a mother for the first time in 2021, shared creative moments through painting and play with her daughter kindles Therese's artistic spirit. Her beloved labrador Lucie, a “quiet companion”, offers her warmth and security as Therese journeys to a dream world, drawing inspiration from fictional books of by-gone eras and the abundant nature surrounding her home on the island. However, her adventures are not limited to Sweden. Her journeys have taken her to many parts of the world, including travels across Europe and Asia, where she has discovered new sources of beauty, friendships and inspiration. Paris, in particular, with its romantic and artistic allure, was a dream place to live and can be attributed to a fair amount of the inspiration for her earlier brands, Zetterberg Couture and Lily and Rose jewellery. London, too, has always had its appeal to Therese and it would be this city that sparks the idea of her newest brand, YLVA LI.

The journey of Therese Zetterberg is one of relentless passion, where every chapter is written with a needle, a thread, or a gemstone. It began in 2007 with a young girl and a boundless vision: Zetterberg Couture. Through years of dedication and "ticking every box" of her creative dreams, Therese transformed a boutique label into an international powerhouse. Her designs eventually graced A-list stars across the globe and royalty alike, leading to the opening of prestigious showrooms and flagship stores from Sweden to London. In 2013, she expanded her narrative by founding the costume jewelry brand Lily and Rose. It was a meteoric success, quickly becoming the best-selling accessory brand in Sweden.During the global pause of COVID-19, a new spark emerged. Amidst the stillness, Therese began to dream of something deeper-a fusion of heritage, science, and ultimate luxury. This vision became YLVA LI. Launched in 2025, YLVA LI is the culmination of nearly two decades of design excellence. It is Therese’s high-end 18k jewelry dream brought to life-combining the artisan mastery of a Seoul atelier with the brilliance of IGI-certified lab-grown diamonds. Our Diamonds

A lab-grown diamond is a 100% authentic diamond. It is not a "fake" or a "simulant" It is chemically, physically, and optically identical to a mined diamond. These stones are created by replicating the extreme heat and pressure of the Earth’s mantle within a controlled laboratory environment. Using a tiny "seed" of carbon, the diamond grows atom by atom, resulting in a gemstone with the same fire, scintillation, and hardness (10 on the Mohs scale) as one pulled from the ground. Because they are grown in a pristine environment, we can source stones of exceptional clarity and color. Traditional mining requires shifting tons of earth and consumes vast amounts of water and energy. Lab-grown diamonds have a significantly smaller environmental footprint, preserving the landscapes that inspire our designs. By choosing lab-grown, we can offer larger, higher-quality stones set in heavy, solid 18k gold at a value that reflects the innovation of the future rather than the high overhead of the mining industry.
